I am happy to say all the new children have settled into their new learning environment very well.

This week we are going to continue looking at phonic sounds. 

Children will be involved in creative activities, games and songs  to help them memorise these sounds. We will also re cap on the sounds that children have been taught over the last week.

Polite reminder please send you child with a named water bottle. Your child’s coat and lunch box must have a name on them.

On very warm days it is vital you apply sun cream on your child.

We would like to wish all of the children and families of Little Crickets a wonderful Easter Break, from all of the staff at the nursery. We look forwards to welcoming you back after Easter, but for now please enjoy a restful time together, delight in any Spring weather that we are blessed with, and indulge in a Chocolate egg if you are so inclined. We look forwards to a new term together after the break.

This week we will be asking children about their favourite book and drawing their favourite characters together.

Thursday 7th March we will be celebrating World Book Day so please dress your child in a costume of their choice, or you can send them in with their costume. You are welcome to send in your children’s favourite book for practitioners to share with them and other children.

We will discuss Mother’s Day with the children and talk about what our mums do for us.
