Little Crickets Nursery is a happy and stimulating learning environment for children aged 2-5, conveniently located on Gorway Road, at the Walsall Cricket Club.
Little Crickets is Ofsted-rated Oustanding, and follows the learning goals set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Funded places are available for 3 year olds and over, as well as eligible 2 year olds under the Government child care provision scheme.
Little Crickets Nursery has been running for over 25 years with a dedicated team of six staff. Every child at Little Crickets is assigned their own dedicated key worker to oversee their development and well-being within the nursery environment, and to provide a vital link back to that child’s parents or carers.
The needs of the individual child are paramount in our setting, with staff working to create a wide range of child-centered curricular activities to enhance their learning. All staff at Little Crickets are trained to help your child grow in key educational and personal areas with the exciting experiences and opportunities that we provide for them.
In 2020 we transitioned from being a sole trader to being a limited company, trading under Little Crickets Nursery Ltd.
We empower our children as individuals, supporting their interests both indoors and outdoors. We are proud to offer the use of a lot of outside space, including a playing field, our own garden with a play house, green house, mud kitchen, vegetable patch and base camp. We make additional use of the local woodlands to encourage independence and confidence exploring nature within a safe outdoors setting.
