Celebrating The Men In Our Families

Next week’s learning will be centred around the male role models that are involved in the care of our family and in wider society. We will be celebrating the special men who play an important role in our children’s lives. Every family is unique, and we will be encouraging the children to think and talk about those they love and look up to, whether that is a dad, stepdad, grandad, uncle, older sibling, or another special person.

The children will enjoy drawing pictures of their special person and sharing what makes them important. These conversations help children develop their confidence, language skills, and understanding of the people who care for them and help them grow.

We will also be getting creative by making special cards to take home, giving the children an opportunity to express their appreciation in their own unique way.

Throughout the week, we will be sharing stories about families, relationships, and the people who care for us, including the much loved story Guess How Much I Love You. These stories will help us explore themes of love, kindness, and the special bonds that make every family unique.

We are looking forward to a week filled with creativity, conversation, and celebrating the wonderful people who make a difference in our children’s lives every day.
