Next week at Little Crickets we will be shining a spotlight on the colour white as we explore our wintery world together. Children will be encouraged to spot white in their environment, from frosty mornings to fluffy clouds and cosy winter items around the nursery.

We will be getting creative by making beautiful white symmetrical collages, using a variety of interesting materials and textures. Alongside this, children will begin to recognise the word white, with gentle support to identify the letters and build early confidence with print in a fun, relaxed way.

As the weather continues to stay chilly, please ensure your child comes to nursery with a labelled coat and hat each day. We are planning to enjoy some outdoor play whenever possible, so warm and suitable clothing will help children stay comfortable while they explore and play.
