We are so pleased to let you know that most of our new starters, along with our returning children, have settled wonderfully into nursery life. Everyone is getting used to their routines, and it has been a joy to see their confidence and smiles growing each day.

This week we are focusing on the colours red and yellow. The children will be spotting these colours around the nursery, at home, and outdoors. To bring this learning to life, they will be printing, making bright and cheerful collages, and enjoying colour recognition games later in the week.

Our older children are beginning their Read Write Inc programme. They will be bringing home small cards with letters on them. We would love it if you could spend a little time helping your child become familiar with the sounds, as this will make their learning even more meaningful.

We have also started to enjoy music from our Harvest CD. You may hear new songs popping up at home as the children sing along. Joining in with their singing and dancing is a lovely way to encourage their learning and share in their excitement.
