This week we will be busy teaching children all about mothers and babies.

Children will be thinking about the importance of their mummies and what they do for them. Using a reference photo and lots of their imagination, they will be encouraged to paint a portrait of their Mum. Please can you send or bring in a photograph of your child with their mummy or mother figure.

We will be further expanding the understanding of the mother-child relationship by looking at different animals and their babies. Please encourage and expand upon this learning at home by showing your child pictures of their favourite animals in both young and adult form.
