This week we are teaching children about ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’. We will be creating a caterpillar using paper circles, then transform it into beautiful butterfly with colourful wings.

We will cut out pictures of the foods that the Very Hungry Caterpillar eats, and sort them into ‘healthy’ and ‘unhealthy’ categories.

Children will be involved in learning the days of the week via a song.

Later on in the week we will be teaching children how a caterpillar turns into a butterfly.
