Dear parents and carers of Little Crickets Children, we would like to give you advance notice of our Christmas fun week, which will be happening during the last week of term.
Our annual Christmas fun week will be taking place during our final week of term, from Monday 9th to Friday 13th December, 2024. We will be taking part in many fun activities, including:
Monday 9th December – A walk to the red letter box
We’ll enjoy a festive walk together to the local postbox.
Tuesday 10th December – Christmas Pyjama Party
We will be holding a pyjama party for the children. They will be involved in playing games and we are lucky enough to be having a visit from Santa. The cost per child is £5.00 which includes party food and a gift from Santa. Please send your child in fresh pyjamas.
Wednesday 11th December – A visit to Gorway Residential Home.
Children will walk to the nursing home with their practitioners to meet with and sing to the elderly residents that live there. The children will give them a gift of chocolates, to help children understand about giving and looking after others over Christmas.
Thursday 12th December – Cooking mince pies
Children will be cooking their own mince pies to take home to their families.
Friday 13th December – Nursery closes for the holidays
Note: Children who do not normally attend on the above days can attend an extra session at the normal fee. Please speak to Suki if you would like to arrange this.
If you are a working parent and your child is above 3 you will be entitled to 30 hours free funding please look online at www.gov.uk to see if you are entitled to increased childcare support.
