This week we will continue teaching children about celebrations and how families celebrate their festivals together.

On Tuesday 12th November we will take the children to the local Gurdwara to show them how Sikhs will be celebrating Guru Nanak Dev Ji Gurpurab (the birthday of Guru Nanak). We will show children how the congregation prepare and serve food.

We will continue to share the Celebrations book together and identify any similarities between different cultures. 

We would like to take this opportunity to say “Happy Gurpurab” to all those that will be celebrating Guru Nanak’s Birthday.
