IMPORTANT NOTICE: Next Monday (27th November 2023) the Nursery will be closed for Teacher Training Day.
This week we will continue teaching children about celebrations and how families celebrate their festivals together.
On Thursday 23rd November we will take the children to the local Gurdwara to show them how Sikhs will be celebrating Guru Nanak Dev Ji Gurpurab (the birthday of Guru Nanak). We will show children how the congregation prepare and serve food.
We will continue to share the Celebrations book together and identify any similarities between different cultures.
I would like to take this opportunity to say “Happy Gurpurab” to all those that will be celebrating Guru Nanak’s Birthday.
