This week we will be teaching children about Diwali and Bhandi Chorr. We will talk to children about how Hindus and Sikhs celebrate this festival in different ways .

Children will be decorating divas and will learn all about the importance of light in both of these festivals.

As we are on holiday during Halloween so we will be carving a pumpkin together during group time and we show children how to do this safely at home.

On Tuesday 24th October we will be hosting a party to celebrate the above festivals. Your child is welcome to dress up for the party in a party clothes or a costume of their choice. A £5 contribution is required for the party food and games. No Lunch is required on Tuesday .

Children break up on Friday 27th October and return on Monday 4th November.
