New term begins at Little Crickets: Tuesday 5th September 

We would like to welcome you all back from the summer break. We hope you are all rested and ready to enjoy the next 7 weeks at Little Crickets. I would also like to thank all the parents for the lovely gifts that were given to staff last term.

This week we are introducing new children into our nursery and helping returning children settle back at Little Crickets, reinforcing how we will keep ourselves safe.

We will be encouraging children to share their experiences about what they have done with their families to keep busy. We will also help children to identify key characteristics about themselves.

To support this learning children will be engaged in creating their own name badges and we will be helping children to self register.

Please remember to label all your children’s lunch bags, coats, hats and rucksacks, as this helps children recognise their own names and items. It will also help practitioners to ensure children have their correct belongings.
