This week we will continue teaching children about Guy Fawkes and bonfire night. We will be talking about fireworks and the colours the children have seen. Learning will be extended by asking children to remember the sounds the fireworks have made. All the information gathered will help us make our firework collage.

We would like to wish all those who are celebrating Guru Nanak’s birthday a happy Gurpurab.

Later on in the week we will be making porridge and teaching children the importance of eating warm food when the weather is cold outside.

At the end of the week we be teaching children about Remembrance Day and helping them understand the significance of the poppy.

On the 11th of November at 11 o clock we  will holding a 1-minute silence.
