I am glad to say most of our new starters and older children have settled very well into the nursery environment and coping very well with their nursery routine.
Following the very sad news of the Queen’s passing last Thursday, the date for the Queen’s state funeral was officially announced for Monday 19th September. It has been officially made a Bank Holiday and, following DfE guidance and with the agreement of the Governing Body, the nursery will close for the day.
The staff and children will undertake some activities in remembrance of the Queen and her reign in the coming week and begin to develop an understanding of this historic period of transition at the beginning of the reign of King Charles III.
