Hello to all parents and carers, we hope you have had an enjoyable and restful weekend! This week at nursery we will be looking at various aspects of the winter weather. We will spend time discussing different shapes with the children and then use these shapes in creating individual snowflakes.

We will be teaching children about soft, smooth and rough textures and the difference between these.

As weather is changing we will talk to children about frost and they will become familiar with the Jack Frost song that we will sing at nursery.

We will go out looking for frost and any icicles that have been formed during the cold weather in these past few days.
