Autumn Term, Week 6: Goldilocks & Keeping Warm

This week we will be teaching children about the seasonal change of weather and how we need to dress on windy days to keep ourselves warm.

We will talk about how we can take of ourselves as the days get colder, and also discuss the things that we eat to keep warm.

Children will be shown different types of clothing and they will have to identify whether they should be worn in the summer or the winter. We will also be playing counting and matching games using socks and gloves.

We will continue to share Autumn stories and look at Goldilocks and The Three Bears.

Please take your child’s learning further by having a conversation about the difference between hot and cold food.
