I am glad to say most of our new starters and older children have settled very well into the nursery environment and coping very well with their nursery routine.

This week we will be encouraging children to recognise brown band orange items which can be found in the nursery, home and outdoor environment.

We will be printing and creating collages with the colours reorange and brown and later on in the week we will be playing colour recognition games.

Older children will start their ‘Read, Write Inc.’ scheme so will come home with small cards with letters on them. Please encourage your child to become familiar with the sounds.

We have started to enjoy music from our harvest CD so you may begin to hear new songs that your child will have picked up from nursery. Please encourage their learning by joining in with the singing and dancing.
