Hello to all parents and carers, we hope you and your children are ready for another bright week of learning and fun.

This week we are going to continue adding to our suite phonic sounds. The sounds children will learn this week are P, Q, R, S and T.

We will be enjoying an activity where we will identify animals that start with this week’s initial sounds. We will enjoy exploring the ‘Walking In The Jungle Book’ to help children recognise and vocalise the sounds of the animals.

We will also work in small groups to re-visit the sounds that children have been taught over the last four weeks.

Next week is our last week before we break up for half term on Friday 28th May. Children who are aged 4 should have all been notified by the council which school their child has been accepted to attend. If your child is turning 3 or is aged 3 and they are to continue at Little Crickets Nursery, Walsall, in September, please speak to me to ensure you reserve the sessions that you require for your child.
