Happy New Year from Little Crickets Nursery, Walsall. We hope you all had a lovely Christmas break. May 2021 be filled with happiness and good health for you and your families.

Thank you so much for all the kind gifts that staff received at the end of last term, they were very much appreciated by all the nursery staff.

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome new parents and children who have joined Little Crickets Nursery this term. We always like to make a moment to assure you that your children will soon settle with us, and start to flourish in their social and educational setting.

This week we will be looking at the colour white. Children will be invited to make their own collage using white materials, where we will also introduce the concept of symmetry. Children will also have the opportunity to make a string painting. We will also be talking about milk, and how it is sometimes incorporated into different types of cooking and cuisine

Children who are physically able to do so will be encouraged by staff to learn how to put their own coats on, and we will remind all children about the importance of staying warm in these cold winter months.
