Hello and Merry Christmas to all the parents, carers and children of Little Crickets nursery! Our Christmas fun week is almost upon us, and we are all getting in the festive mood and can’t wait to bring a little bit of magic to you and your little ones at the end of this term.

Tuesday 15th December: Pyjama Party!

Our fabulous pyjama party kicks off our celebrations. Please dress your children in some lovely comfy pyjamas so that we can gather together and sing our Christmas songs. We’ll even have a very special guest to sing to; none other that Father Christmas himself will be in attendance. With a big ho ho ho Santa will be helping us make merry with plenty of party games that everyone will be involved in, and he will have a gift for each child.

Hot food will be served at the party, so packed lunches are not required this day. A small supplemental payment of £5 is required this day to cover the food and party.

Wednesday 16th December: Let’s All Go To The Red Letter Box!

We will be taking children on an excursion to the red letter box on Wednesday to post our all-important letters to Santa. Children will have chance to pull on their coats and winter hats as we take the short walk to the post box to post the most magical letters of the year.

Thursday 17th December: Something Sweet

For the final day of our celebrations, children will have fun decorating biscuits. Will you get a snowman, or a squiggle of icing? The fun is in the waiting. You could save those sweet treats as a little offering for Santa on Christmas Eve, but we bet they don’t last that long! Yum yum!

Term ends on Thursday 17th December at 2:50pm, when we shall be bidding all of our children a fond farewell for the Christmas break. We hope that all our children and families have a wonderful, warm and safe Christmas. Thank you all for being so supportive this term. We cannot wait to welcome you back in the new year, when term begins on Tuesday 5th January.
