We hope that you and your families had a wonderful weekend.

As the weather grows steadily colder, we are turning our thoughts to winter, and all of the cosy celebrations that the end of the year brings us. Over the next four weeks we will be getting our nursery ready for Christmas, and children will help us to decorate the nursery Christmas tree.

This week we will introduce the story of Mary and Joseph to our children, and look at how they travelled to Bethlehem.

Children will start to decorate their Christmas folders, and talk about what they might like for Christmas. We will also begin learning some Christmas songs with the children, and these will be shared with you soon.

Please remember to ensure that children are wrapped up warm and that all personal items including coats, hats and mittens are clearly labelled with your child’s name.
