Over the next two weeks we will be teaching children about growth, and the conditions needed for growth. We will be planting seeds, painting daffodils and looking at many different types of flowers.

This week we will be beginning our new reading scheme. From the week commencing Monday 9th March we will be sending home a book of your child’s choice. We are asking for parents/carers cooperation in reading the book with their child and noting down any new words they have learnt on a learning card which will be provided. Please return the book on the following week so that it can be exchanged for a new book.

Over the course of the next few weeks we will be teaching and enforcing the importance of washing hands properly. We would like to ask all parents to continue this learning at home.

Please could all parents and guardians who have not yet done so consider sponsoring their child to run a lap of the cricket field. We are raising money for a touchscreen table for the nursery which will enhance and support the learning that we give at Little Crickets Nursery. None of this will be achievable unless we receive your support and help, so please get friends and family involved in helping our cause by sponsoring a lap of the cricket field.
