This week we are experimenting with water in different forms. We will help children understand the importance of water and look at its various attributes.

Children will be shown how ice is made, and how it melts. We will take this learning further and look at how different items either float or sink in the water.

We will be making vegetarian jelly and children will be painting animals that live near water.

Special Notice: Friday Lunch Changes

Every Friday will be a fun learning day for our children. They will be involved in cooking, painting or creating something linked to their learning earlier on in the week. Due to time constraints we have decided children attending the nursery will no longer have lunch with us on Fridays. This will allow us to use that extra time to extend learning. Children will still be offered a top up breakfast and a mid-morning fruit snack.
