We would like to welcome all children, parents and carers back to Little Crickets Nursery following the Christmas break. We hope to find you all rested and ready to enjoy the next six weeks. The nursery staff would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your beautiful gifts and cards.

This week we are introducing children to the colour white in the environment. Children will be involved in creating white symmetrical collages using different materials and learning resources. We will be encouraging children to look at the word white, and we will support their learning by helping to identify the individual letters in the word.

As the weather is still very cold please ensure each child has a name-labelled coat and hat, and please check any spare clothing sent in bags to ensure it is weather-appropriate. We are planning to enjoy some seasonal outdoor play so children will need to be dressed warmly.
