We hope you have had a fun week with your children and would like to take this opportunity welcome you all back to Nursery.

This week we will be discussing bonfires and fireworks with the children, and we will tell parts of the story of Guy Fawkes.

We will expand upon this learning by talking to children about handling sparklers safely, and we will light our sparklers during circle time. This will enable us to teach new sounds and vocabulary associated with fireworks.

Children will be designing their own firework pictures using natural ingredients and then decorating them with paint.

Please be safe during any fireworks display that you might be attending with your children, and reinforce the important message of safety around fireworks.

May we take this opportunity to remind all parents to send their children with a warm coat, hat and gloves as the weather is starting to get colder.
