This week we will be teaching children about Diwali and Bhandi Chorr.  We will talk to children about how Hindus and Sikhs celebrate these festivals in various and different ways .

Children will be decorating divas and will learn all about the importance of light in both of these festivals.

As we are on holiday during Halloween this week we will be carving a pumpkin together during group time, and we will show children how to do this safely at home.

On Friday we will be hosting a party to celebrate all of the above festivals. Your child is welcome to dress up for the party in a costume of their choice. A £5 contribution is required for the party food and games. Due to the party being held, no packed lunches are required on Friday.

Children break up on Friday 25th October and return on Monday 4th November.
