As the weather has changed and the trees are starting to shed their leaves we will bring the falling leaves to our children’s attention and look at the changing colours in the environment. We will use the colours orange and brown to make a sequential painting. This learning will be extended further by tasting oranges and looking at different sized oranges.

This week we will be developing our children’s fine motor skills by encouraging them to thread beads.

Older children have started their Read, Write Inc scheme. Please continue to help your child recognise the sounds they have been practicing at nursery and help them with their name recognition.

We will be learning the combine harvester song this week. Please encourage your children by joining in with their singing and dancing.
